Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Carolee Carmello will star in the new musical Tuck Everlasting during the show's pre-Broadway world premiere in Boston. Keenan-Bolger will play Jesse, while Carmello will take on the role of his mother, Ma Tuck. Newcomer Sadie Sink will play Winnie and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof's Michael Park will play Pa Tuck. Directed and choreographed by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw, Tuck Everlasting will run at the Citi Emerson Colonial Theatre July 28 through August 18.

The cast also includes Fred Applegate (Sister Act) as Constable Joe, Marylouise Burke (Rx) as Nana, David Garrison (Titanic) as the Man in the Yellow Suit, Michael Wartell (The Kid) as Hugo and Valerie Wright (Elf) as Mother.

Tuck Everlasting tells the story of a young girl named Winnie Foster and her friendship with Jesse Tuck and his family, who become immortal after drinking from an enchanted spring. Based on the 1975 children’s novel by Natalie Babbitt, the story has twice been adapted for the screen. A 1981 film version starred Margaret Chamberlain, Paul Flessa, Fred A. Keller, James McGuire and Sonia Raimi. A Disney production, released in 2002, starred Alexis Bledel, Jonathan Jackson, William Hurt, Sissy Spacek and Ben Kingsley.

The new musical features music by Chris Miller and lyrics by Nathan Tysen (collaborators on The Burnt Part Boys) and a book by Tony nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde). The production will feature scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Gregg Barnes, sound design by Brian Ronan, orchestrations by Danny Troob and musical direction by Rob Berman.

Keenan-Bolger is currently playing the role of Crutchie in Broadway's Newsies. His other Broadway credits include Mary Poppins, Seussical and Beauty and the Beast. Two-time Tony Award nominee Carmello recently starred on Broadway as Aimee Semple McPherson in Scandalous. Her other Broadway credits include Sister Act, The Addams Family, Lestat, Mamma Mia! and Kiss Me, Kate. In addition to Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Park has appeared on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Little Me, Smokey Joe's Cafe and Carousel. Sink, who is 10 years old, made her Broadway debut in November 2012 in James Lapine’s revival of Annie.

Tuck Everlasting is produced by Broadway Across America-Beth Williams, Howard & Janet Kagan and Barry Brown.
